Testimonials

“Stevie started his career at a young age at Ajax. He was part of the golden duo together with Appie Nouri. His great speed combined with his superb technique and ability to read the game, make him a unique player. During matches and tournaments, one can depend on Steven to make many goals and assists. After a less enjoyable time at Ajax, the transfer to PSV made it possible for Stevie to enjoy the game of football again. At PSV Steven developed into a divers player that can play on any of the attacking position on the pitch. Past season was a highlight for Stevie. He was asked to play with the men of Cocu many times (A team) and as a cherry on top, he was chosen as UEFA Golden Player of the EC U17 in Malta! A well-deserved award and an affirmation of the fact that he is on the right track. A player that is very enjoyable to watch and a heartwarming personality.”

– Fulco van Kooperen, Manager Muy Manero

“It is now about three years ago that I met Steven for the first time. There was an instant click between trainer and player. In the pre-season preparations of 2011-2012 it was clear to me that his qualities were in abundance, but that he also thoroughly enjoys the game. It was that moment that Steven started to work real hard on improving his weaker points, but also made sure to keep working on his strengths. All this hard work paid off and resulted in a 3-year contract at his current club PSV, but also the ‘Golden Player’ award at the EC U17 in Malta. Besides a talented and gifted football player, Steven is also a great person to work with. His parents have supported him tremendously in his early career, and just like PSV, they have always believed in his qualities and abilities. Therefore I am proud to have gotten to know Steven and his family over the past years and that I was able to contribute to Steven’s abilities as a player and person.”

– Edwin de Wijs, Youth Trainer PSV U15
